From park to garden
Many parks and gardens are spread throughout the Haute-Garonne, and you can explore them throughout the seasons with their changing colours.
Formal French-Style gardens, "jardin de curé" (curate's garden), with species both useful and decorative, landscape gardens…whatever takes your fancy, follow our back roads to find a garden, or grounds which will let you into its secrets and sharpen your senses.
In particular, north of Toulouse, the Château de Laréole is an invitation to travel back in Time, as is the Château de Merville.
Let the murmuring of the wind in the box bushes and the old trees gently soothe you.
